Ocean View Luxury Penthouse 3BR 3BA / Beach Service / PH7

A poor maintained property in a barely 3 Star complex Positive: Front desk were totally disinterested robots who still have not resolved agreed issues and a way forward. Negative: The Penthouse is in a 3 star rated complex with a 1 star operating model in particular the front desk. Everyday we needed to request towels, coffee etc. Customer service is non existent. Many things broken, bathroom not in use. The word luxury should not be utilised to describe any aspect of our families experience.

The location on the beach was great but the property itself was crappy compared to the pictures. The dishwasher was broken, there were no bowls to eat out of (despite few dining options nearby, and despite multiple requests to staff for bowls!). The bathrooms were very nice and had been updated recently, but the bedrooms and common areas were downright shabby with patches of paint on the walls and worn out furniture. We will not rent this unit again.

Negative: Please check the dishwasher and the oven in that unit. 1. I almost got injured when I opened the dishwasher door. The door is defective; the door dropped open very hard, hurting my fingers. I was lucky it didn't fall on my shin. I ran the dishwasher but the soap dispenser did not open so the soap did not get dispensed during the cycle. So we hand washed the dishes and did not use the dish washer. 2. I cooked some sweet potatoes in the oven. When I opened the oven door in about 45 minutes to check if the potatoes were cooked, hot steam gushed out on to my hand and face. This really frightened me. Fortunately, only the top of my right hand fingers got a minor burn. Apparently, the moisture from the potatoes did not vent and was captured in the oven until the door was opened. Other than that, the unit was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.
